Friendly, energetic, hard-working
Saffron Walden Choral Society is a friendly, energetic and highly accomplished choir with a reputation for innovative programming and polished performance. Most of our concerts are performed at the world-class Saffron Hall, with our Christmas performances with local schools taking place in St Mary's, the town's beautiful parish church.
Our rehearsals are normally held on Mondays from 7:30-9:45pm at the Saffron Walden County High School.
Rehearsals are often demanding, and we work hard, but they also great fun and very satisfying.
If you'd like to become part of our dynamic and friendly group, then give us a try. We invite you to join us at three or four rehearsals before having a short voice test with our musical director, Quintin Beer.
